How to dry raisin

Choose material. For Raisin should choose the Thin, full plump soft grape fruit, beautiful appearance, high sugar content as raw material. the fruit should be fully ripe but not too mature.

After Choose the quality grape, cut off the particles and pick up the smaller or damaged fruit and place them in baskets.

In order to speed drying and to shorten the time required for water evaporation, alkali treatment should be used to remove the waxy layer on the surface of the grape. Put whole basket of grapes into 1.5 ~ 4.0% sodium hydroxide solution for 5 seconds, then picked up the water rinse; and then remove the grapes from the basket and place the grape to the trays evenly.

Put the trays on the cart and push into the drying house and make sure the house is clean and dry. start to set the temperature and humidity of the dehydrator. on the first stage ,suggested to sent Temp:40Celsius degree and humid. on 5%.

Observed every 6 hours, after 72 hours, pay attention to the degree of dryness to observe whether it can already go stem;

Stop the machine. Remove the grape stem, choose the grade for grape, can also arrange to wash the grape at the meantime.

Place the selected High-quality grape to the trays evenly and push into the other room dedicated for the secondary drying.

Set temperature on 40.C and humidity to 5% and working for 24 hours.

Observed again, normally can finished drying within 24 hours.
