How to dehydrate garlic

Ingredients: garlic


1. Separate the Garlic into small pieces, wash the garlic pieces;

2. Cut the garlic pieces into 2-3mm thichness slices;

3. Set the machine as below parameter to dry the garlic pieces: Drying temperature: 60℃; Drying relative humidity: 5%

4. The garlic pieces will take about 4-6Hours to finish drying.

This middle temperature drying will well keep the dried garlic pieces’ aroma, color, shape. Different garlic thickness will have different dehydrating time, more thinner, the dehydrating time will be shorter. The dried garlic slices will regain moisture when they are in direct contact with the air, so a sealed package is required. If you use vacuum packaging, you can better preserve the color and aroma of garlic slices.
